Specifications and Applications of Vermiculite Boards

Vermiculite boards possess properties such as non-combustibility, non-melting, high-temperature resistance, fireproofing, eco-friendliness, thermal insulation, and soundproofing. They are a versatile inorganic material used for fireproofing and thermal insulation. Primarily composed of inorganic materials like expanded vermiculite and containing no carbon elements, vermiculite boards do not burn. Even when heated to 1200°C, they do not emit gases harmful to human health, achieving Class A fire rating. Consequently, they find extensive applications across industrial production and daily life.


Chenxing vermiculite boards are typically manufactured using a hot-pressing process. Raw materials are preheated to a specified temperature before being placed in a high-temperature hot press for compression. This method ensures high processing precision, uniform strength, and a smooth surface finish, effectively enhancing product quality. Currently, boards are produced in diverse specifications: thickness ranges from 8-65mm; with lengths up to 2440mm, widths up to 1220mm, and densities ranging from 450-1200 kg/m³. Custom specifications can be produced to meet diverse client requirements. We provide customers with third-party authoritative testing reports from SGS and other agencies, covering physical properties, fire resistance (Class A1 non-combustible), smoke toxicity (ZA2), fire integrity, thermal insulation, sound insulation, and the absence of volatile organic compounds such as metals, asbestos, and formaldehyde.
