  • Description

The density of vermiculite bricks ranges from 0.4 to 0.8 g/cm³, with a thermal conductivity at room temperature of 293 to 502.4 J/(m·h·℃) (70 to 120 cal/(m·h·℃)). Compressive strength is <2.45 MPa, and water absorption is approximately 6%.

Typically, granular expanded vermiculite is mixed with an appropriate amount of high-strength binder, lightly pressed into shape, and then dried or baked to form the brick. The thermal conductivity of the binder is generally higher than that of expanded vermiculite. Therefore, while the addition of binder enables new applications for expanded vermiculite, it also reduces its thermal insulation effectiveness.

The vermiculite bricks produced by Shijiazhuang Chenxing Industrial Co., Ltd. are lightweight boards made of natural expanded vermiculite and its inorganic additives, processed through multiple processes. They are high-quality boards developed by aerospace professionals who strive for excellence. At a high temperature of 1100 ℃, it can still maintain its original physical form and chemical properties, and does not release any toxic substances - (fire-resistant, environmentally friendly) is its outstanding characteristic.
